Duke received a pledge from No. 1 shooting guard Gary Trent Jr., while John Calipari and Kentucky landed five-star frontcourt prospects Nick Richards and P.J. Washington. Alabama, which hasn't had a five-star recruit sign since 2008, picked up the five-star backcourt tandem of Collin Sexton and John Petty. And Georgia was able to keep home top-40, in-state prospect Rayshaun Hammonds.
