Guys, it’s true.
After joining the Rivals network in January of 2000, today/Wednesday will be my final day. There are too many people to individually thank for all they have done to help me grow and succeed in this space for over two decades. Luke and his engineering team have made things simple for us the last few years and he never gets any credit for all he’s does for the network. My bosses through the years have been more friends than bosses. They have been loyal to me through every personal hurdle I have had to overcome health wise and beyond. I have called them friends for years and am honored to be able to continue to do that moving forward.
To the great loyal subscriber base that has made Volquest special and the General’s Quarters the best hang out for Vol football, basketball, recruiting and baseball, your loyalty to me and our staff has been incredible. It’s never been assumed or forgotten and never will be.
Thursday, will mark my 300 consecutive Vol game covered and I’m looking forward to it and I’m excited about what lies ahead.
Again, thank you to everyone for making that last 22 years more than I ever dreamed it could be.
