This am. One of the hardest things I've had to do in my adult life. Had him 11 years since i was 23 we basically grew up together. I've lost pets and things growing up but never have I been so attached and depended on as with Duke. Coming home doesn't even feel the same. Really is like losing a piece of yourself.
