Just got into bourbons about a year or two ago and had not experimented much. Woodford Reserve had been my go to. Tried Jefferson Ocean... different and not bad but didn't find it worth the money. Tried Blantons next. Very good but still not what I was looking for. Tried Woodford Double Oaked and liked it but again felt there had to be better.

Got lucky a couple weeks ago and was able to snag a bottle of WL Weller Special Reserve at my local store. Had seen it mentioned here numerous times. I think I've found MY bourbon. Think it beats the others I listed hands down. Very smooth and good tasting.

For those that have had Weller 107 or Weller 12, could you comment on those please. If Weller 12 is better than Special Reserve I may have to shell out the $225 bones for a bottle
