Amazing how cold this team can be at times. Minutes go by where the vols can't make a basket even from directly under the basket. I just don't know how you can explain it, but the same thing happened to Miss. St. at the beginning of the game. This team for what ever reason goes through these cold spells even at the foul line. Barnes substitutes but it doesn't seem to matter. The anchor point is Hubbs. Hubbs has the ability to get the ball and score when needed. That was non existent today. Hubbs constantly kept the ball passing around to teammates that could not make a basket instead of putting the game on his shoulders. If he went for the basket, he would have scored or gown to the foul line. Amazing how many fouls they called on Tennessee against a guy who is 6'10", big, and wearing a protective mask. If Tennessee leaned on him trying to keep him from the basket, a foul was called. We got pushed out of the way from underneath the basket and nothing was called in our favor. I give credit to Miss. St. for not giving up and fighting back. All of a sudden a team that couldn't make anything, couldn't miss anything even from the three. Williams is got to figure out how to stay out of foul trouble and stay aggressive. Bone is going to be a great Tennessee player before his time is up. Williams is already exceeded most expectations. This team is going to keep surprising people.
