Have old friends flying in from Seattle to see the game. Going to be a fun day. Excited to be back in the Lord's house for a night game. Very excited to see family and friends. We are going to watch the Vol walk. Sitting in Chattanooga, just thinking about throwing the football through the tire in the back yard while listening to John Ward on the radio we had setup in my dad's work basement. Remember crying when Tony Robinson was hurt, could tell it was bad based on John Ward's change in voice. Was young and I loved his Jordan cleats. Taking dad to the game. He's in his upper 70s now and he was like a kid in the candy store when I asked him to go earlier this week. Wife is excited too. As she said, it is good just to see improvement. All of these little micro memories have carried many of us for awhile. Are we finally at the point of making an upward turn? Or is hope getting in the way of logic? Look forward to going horse cheering along with 102k of my Vol brother and sisters tonight. Should be a helluva night. It is awesome to care and to matter again. Something that I will never take for granted again. Safe travels, see you soon.
