With scholarship limits now more than a 30 years in, due to Title IV, is there a point in time where expectations are unrealistic.
There have 5 dominant programs in the Country. Really no need to name them. Tennessee is in a group of about 30 programs that are a level below all trying not to **** up and become a .500 program.
I've seen Texas, USC, Nebraska, Tennessee, Auburn, Michigan, Penn State, Florida State, Florida, UCLA, Miami, Syracuse, and many many more trying to get back to the Top level. It is Much more difficult to to get there now than ever before, not impossible, but goodness. LSU, Oklahoma there are to many to mention. Are expectations unrealistic?
