Boeheim has to live with the school penalties, and those penalties are very stiff. I think the NCAA looks at the totality of the punishment on Boeheim (school sanctions included) and says it was harsh.
They can't do that with Tyndall. They could hammer SMU, but it wouldn't affect Tyndall at all.
