It isn't going to be the AD's deciding factor, but take a look at the candidates and who they have recently gotten committed for the 2015 class.
I know that it has become fairly common to release signees when a Coach departs. TN did that last year and so did Southern Miss.
Also, late signing starts April 15. So, any prospect committed in the last couple of months, has not yet signed. Just as an example, Marquette just got a four star, top 150 PG committed. Goes along with their signed five star center.
