I just talked with Daevin Hobbs about his visit to Tennessee. It's clear that the Vols made a major impression on the priority recruit.

Here's what he had to say:

– On his visit this weekend: "I think the environment was crazy all weekend, and when it was game time, it was crazy."

– On UT's message to him this weekend: "They need more players with my skillset to come play there."

– On UT's coaching staff: "I like them a lot. Whenever I go up there and talk to them, I always have a good time with them. I like how they coach. They know a lot about the game. Coach G has put in like the most d-linemen to the NFL, and then Coach Beck knows a lot about the game. Coach Heup – he's really doing good for the program and the school and everything, so I really liked him a lot."

– On his relationship with the Vols: "I've talked to them forever. I think that sophomore year or somewhere, I started talking to them. But they really picked up in early June."

– On the teams after him the hardest: "I would definitely say Tennessee, 'Bama, Georgia and then Michigan, too."

– First thing that comes to mind when you think of UT? "Probably all their theme songs they have and the big fan base they have."
