Obviously making sure you have the QB is the biggest priority, but you have to hope that by year 2-3 respectively that Kongbo and Phillips are really 5 star talents. You get someone like Rock in here and change the mindset of these players, and I think it does wonders. Yes, there are depth issues at place. But we should starting out on the DL with: 5 star McKenzie, 5 star Kongbo, 5 star Phillips, and high 4 star Taylor. There is talent there. Tuttle will be back at some point as well.
In the secondary, you have what probably will be high 4 star Byrd, high 4 star Osborne (that Florida really wanted), 4 star Gaulden, and guys like Buchanan who have showed signs, Moseley who will have another year in weight program. On the backend you have TKJr who will be a senior and was recruited by everyone, Warrior who was recruited by everyone, and Abernathy who you hope is healthy.
At LB, you got Kirkland who was wanted by everyone, Bituli who you hope is pretty dang good, Sapp will be back, McDowell will have another year in the weight room, and then guys like Bates and Berry who you hope continue to improve and finally get the light bulb to go off.
OL returns everyone. WRs should all be back. And the RBs have some obvious talent.
I think people forget there is still a ton of talent on this team. Yes, be concerned about coaching. That's fair. But there's a lot on here that act like we just have everyone graduating and no one returning.
