SOS = Strength of schedule (Napier playing the little sisters of the poor league) the negative number for SOS represents how far below average of the league.
SRS = Relatively speaking, against the SOS how did they do vs how you could reasonably expect them to do.
Methinks Napier dug himself a hole by clearing the whole class of Mullen commits. Recruits, their teammates, and HS coaches will not forget him, in his High Holy Hubris, pulling every scholarship. It decimated his class and put him in a hole.
Recruiting against Malzhan, Cristobal, Norvel, Smart, and Saban - that hole is going to be hard to fill. He is coming in with that Dabo/Saban demeanor and just don’t see him having the edge versus his competition to pull it off.
Heupels SOS was +3.5 points harder than the SEC norm. Napier’s -5 points was that much easier than the Crawfish conference norm. Heupel is earning his stripes not acting like he deserves them day 1.
