Hooker played 1 1/2 less games than did Corral and look at the stats

Passing yards: Hooker = 1894 Corral = 2527
Passing TDs: Hooker = 21 Corral = 16
Yards per attempt: Hooker = 10.1 Corral = 9.2
Passer Rating: Hooker = 190 Corral = 162
Rushing Yards: Hooker = 457 yards Corral = 528 yards

The only statistic in which Corral soundly outpaces Hooker is rushing TDs at 10 to 4. Nearly every other stat leans to Hooker when accounting for number of games played yet Corral is a Heisman finalist and Hooker seems to be an after thought.
