view of Butch now that UT lost to Vandy?
A local five star talent that's 400 yards away from being the all time rushing leader up and leaves then UT loses to Vandy.
Do both show it was a crazy year, Butch is a bad coach, or something else?
I've never let his coach-speak bother me but his coaching has always been open for criticism. When Hurd left it was all about his selfishness and Butch caught little to no heat. Now an absolutely terrible loss to Vandy and Hurds departure looks differently to me.
All the negatives about this team and his tenure seem to be magnified with this loss.
I am not suggesting he be fired but this team was so difficult to watch at times with the poor blocking, tackling and coverage that even the most ardent supporters can reasonably question if this coach is the right guy now.
