Jim Chaney hire worth the wait? TN fans re happy it's over. feeling that it was not going well. also happiness of the selection of JC. Experienced play caller in the SEC. JC knows the Defensive coaches in the SEC East. learning curb that TN went through last year is not there with JC. Jim plays football the way TN goes about playing. more in line with TN style.
Factors leaving GA? Money. JC will be in the 1.5mill range. that's a lot of money. he loves East TN. he likes the challenge. didn't like being moved to TE's coach. Place where he enjoys and wants to retire here. loves fishing and the mountains. he would of stayed under Butch.
Did Ga try to keep him? yes I think they did. a lot of people thought he would stay at GA with a raise. GA has a lot of parts coming back. TN bettered the offer.
Chaney wanted out of GA? I don't think that's the total thing. He can make an extra money, more than he has ever made. That got Jim's attention. I don't think he was running from GA. Give TN credit. Their commitment to football has never been higher. They are not cheap.
Highest paid asst. coach in TN history? yes.. JC will make more than what Fulmer did in 1998.
Tee Martin? Tee is looking for a job. There has been convo. no staff availability right now. I would not rule it out but there has to be a spot. Saban will respond to what happen Monday night and that response may be his staff.

Alexander has a good grip of what his role is? Barnes challenged him to bring his intensity every night. his role is to rebound and defend. point will come. vey important part of the puzzle. he is another layer in what makes TN a final 4 team. very encouraging win due to Admiral and Grant not playing well.
