Trio from Memphis? How big of a get? Really went hard after Eason. The 3 wanted to play together. TN was the first to offer that. Eason was the guy they liked the most and felt comfortable with the other 2 after more tape. Kept recruiting them even though they wasn’t priority at the time.
Who’s next? Omari Thomas out of Memphis. Will be on campus this weekend. Ole Miss is in there. TN feels like they are trending. Coach Pruitt has taken over that recruitment.
Maurer took reps yesterday? Did last week as well. Did more than I thought. Didn’t run any run game. Threw it well against air. I would be surprised if he plays this weekend. Interesting to hear CJP press conference today and Vol Calls tonight.
Who will start if Maurer doesn’t? JT Shrout took a bunch of reps yesterday. A lot with ones. Are they disenchanted with JG? I don’t think so with CJP comments. They are definitely repping JT more.
Did JG go rogue? CJP was asked and he said everybody saw what happen. I saw a LG pull. I saw a LT block down. Nobody on the line blocked for a QB sneak. JG did not run the play that was called.
Refereeing was sketchy? Taylor penalty? Huge play in the game. TN was getting off the field. I do not agree with the call. Don’t know if I ever saw it called in a game before. Nothing was there. Very surprised. Official was 100% committed to it.
CJP grabbing the facemask? Treading on a line that you have to be careful. I am old school enough that it is not a big deal. Clearly was trying to get eye contact. It was not a violent tug. Not the first coach to do that in any sport. Not a big deal but got to be careful.
People say it may hurt recruiting? (Blaine question of course) Nah..don’t think it will effect. 24 hours passed it goes away quickly. Not a big story. Not as big of a story as officiating. Officials need to take some ownership.

Trying to get a true read on this team? OL better? No doubt they are better and getting better. Trey is playing the best of his career. Morris getting better. Biggest surprise is carvin. They was going to red shirt now he will not give the right side up. changed the identity. Made Jordan better. Love to see Maurer for 4 qrts. Need to rely heavily on the run. Harder to run on USC than Bama.

Kicking game has to be better? Place kicking and punting? ( don’t know why Howard said Place Kicking..he has one miss all year.) Punting has been inconsistent. Not sure what happen to Brooks on kick offs. May want to fair catch every kick. Maurer is not on field you have to help yourself.
Lighting Saturday night? Don’t get me started. This league cannot allow them to do that while the teams are in the huddle. Cannot allow that while a team is in the huddle and game clock is running. I cannot imagine ESPN production crew was happy with that. It effect their production.
