Is the rage over the fact these groups and companies “pimp” kids….or pissed they aren’t pimping kids to UT? This all seems pretty cynical.
As I said in the other topic, we see these folks, but not too often. The kids with athletic talent are able to get to tutoring classes on time, better fed when they arrive and generally seem to engage better than the rest.
This is just a guess, of course, but it’s certainly in someone’s interest to make sure these kids pass and pass well. I know enough about the recruiting game to know it this sort of thing is common, but I didn’t realize the extent to which official businesses are built around it.
