I have fervently defended him. Decimated by injuries, I was prepared to stay tight behind him with a victory over Vandy although I feared humiliation in New Orleans. I continue to contribute fairly consequently to the Tennessee fund thinking CBJ is making headway. No more. A loss to a team with no history, no fan base, no administrative or academic support just embarrassed an institution steeped in football tradition. I get losing to Bama....I refuse to accept losing to S Carolina and Vandy. CBJ is obviously a cliche machine that captured my support with recruiting. But ispt is smoke and mirrors.
I hate losing....but I hate irrelevance worse. We are irrelevant. Time to buy out another contract and open the coffers to get this right. If not, you can take all the cranes off campus....there will beno funds to support further campus revitalization. We become an afterthought.
