For the record, I like Cuonzo and would have continued to support him and his program. But I'm pretty sure I'm in the minority on this. Despite a fluke run in last year's tournament, last year's team largely under achieved. And that's after 2 years in which they couldn't go deep in the NIT. The returning roster was slim and we had a bunch of 3 star type recruits coming in. Hart COULD NOT give Zo a multi-year deal with a large buy out because right now we'd be talking about buying Zo out or him being on the hot seat next year. Hart saw into the future on this one, and made the right decision. Cuonzo's 3 game run in last year's tournament shouldn't have out weighed the 3 years he was in Knoxville or the likelihood of a subpar 2014-15 season.
