Not sure if by design or not, but Dobbs almost never kept the ball on the read play last night. You might remember that we did the same thing against North Texas last year to save him some hits and our offense was pretty stagnant vs. an inferior opponent.
Not excusing last night's performance, but it does make me think our offense can operate at a much higher level.
