Over the past 20 years or so and the top 20-25 coaches over that period and identify a couple of "Can't Miss" candidates and pay them whatever it takes to get them and a top notch staff with them.
There is NO REASON for UT to always scrape the bottom of the SEC and it has been that way for the most part since CBW tried to win with athletes from other sports and walk-ons. We need a commitment to WIN NOW. All it is, is a ;lack of commitment of $$ to search, identify and spend what it takes to hire the right coaches. Have satellite camps and bring in all the players in the Knoxville area who are interested and make long evaluations, then Chattanooga, J.C., Murfreesboro, Memphis, Nashville, Jackson, Cookeville, Clarksville and all! The Reds used to bring "try out" camps and caused a lot of stir and found a player on occasion. We need some pride back, like we had a few years with ray Buzzard's swim team, our Track Team. It hurts me to be mentioned with Kentucky, South Carolina, Mississippi State and some others in ANY sport!
