1. Where was this reported that he was not allowed to bring his own position coaches? Who did he want to bring that would have transformed this defense into a legitimate SEC defense? I keep seeing this said on this board as if it is fact.
2. Let's assume it's true that he wasn't allowed to bring his own guys. It was reported that he went through an "interview" that lasted almost an entire day where he talked defense and strategy with the current staff members. They spent a lot of time getting to know each other and ensuring that they could work well together. Did he not take the job knowing exactly who he'd be working with?
Why do some of you think he's less accountable or not accountable since these weren't his handpicked position coaches? Were they Jancek's guys?
