…but I don’t care. Those young men were giving their all for Tennessee. They put their bodies on the line to try to make us proud & beat a team we’re not supposed to beat, yet we’re too busy belly aching like someone stole your ice cream cone. I refuse to get bent totally out of shape about this loss (although it stings), because there has totally been progress made here. There’s been buy in from our players and a clear culture change. We’re down some of our most important players, so you’re already playing with one hand tied behind your back but this team plays with the next man up mentality. Heupel may not be the guy, but we definitely need to see if he can get the talent in here to get and stay competitive, but we just didn’t have it tonight. GBO
