Great recruiter. Won't make drammatic changes the the offense that require a year to adjust to (see the Clawfense). Knows the kids already. Did well as the interim HC at Miami. If they back filled with a really good recruiter in his old spot, that would be ideal IMHO.
Remember, in 2016 the Vols were #2 in the conference in scoring offense; but #9 in the conference in scoring defense. I am not sure offense was the problem.
