I used to play hockey at an extremely high level. It makes most people think that hockey is my favorite sport. Nope. I LOVE watching baseball. I seriously love everything about the game. Because of this, I have been to A LOT of baseball games. I have been to playoff games. I have been to game 163. I have been to more MLB parks than I want to count. I literally quote Major League every day... multiple times.
That said, I have had more fun this season than I can ever remember. Yes I am disappointed by how it ended, but honestly that puts a small dent in how much fun this season was. I sat in cold temps, freezing cold rain, and blistering heat. I wouldnt trade any of that because watching this team was special.
They didn't win, or even make the CWS. That doesn't really change anything to me. I got to see a group come together and be a true team. They all had each other's back. They all truly loved playing for each other. They all loved the fans and the appreciation we gave them.
Yeah we didn't win, or even make the CWS. Yeah that really sucks. Even with all of that I had more fun watching baseball this year than I have ever had. For all of you people that just started watching, you were able to watch a truly special team. Appreciate that!
