Vol fans,
It has been a while since I have posted. Just confirmed that I'll be heading up to K-town this weekend for the Third Saturday in October, so I'm starting to get fired up.
As we all know, the Vols have not put together four quarters of quality football this season. I don't know how good Alabama really is, sure they are loaded with talent, but they have only really been tested against Ole Miss. If we get off to a decent start in the first half and don't fall behind I like our chances. We're not coming back from down 17-21+ points against Bama. For Pete's sake hold onto the damn football, if I was coaching I'd require two hands on the ball at all times this week during practice, and in the game.
Mid week I feel cautiously optimistic. I hope Kirkland is able to go, and Hurd returns to normal form. We need to rattle their freshman quarterback, and not let him scramble out of the pocket. It would be nice if we got a bye week prior to Bama like last year, but we must do best with the cards we've been dealt.

This streak does not go for a decade, if we end the Florida and Bama streaks in the same year last week's loss will have minimal consequences.
