Idiots on here bitching about how that wasn't really important but other things about catching passes were. Well I just rewatched VT and Ohio games and all the terrible whiffs out on the edge for what should have been blocks. If Jennings makes a good block in the VT game JD scores. If Williams blocks then Hurd scores. The jet sweeps that haven't been overly effective due to piss poor blocking on the corners among other things is a direct result of WRs blocking poorly or not at all. Those blocks are fundemental to the success of the plays and are essential to good execution. There is more to be a WR than catching a pass. Everything that is asked of them is important. You don't know more than the coached regardless how smart you think you are. Give them some credit.
