I see the NHL is playing a pre-season game in China...

It is becoming popular for pro sports to play over there it seems. Now, I have a question. China is not exactly the world leaders when it comes to human rights.
Is it hypocritical for a league to refuse to play an event in North Carolina, yet agree to play in China?
