at his stage of life, he would be crazy. If we(Tennessee fans) even considered Lane Kiffen, we would be crazy. Butch for what it is worth will be the coach next year and if he delivers another 8-4 season, he will continue to be the coach for the foreseeable future. We are a long way from having a program that any "home run" type of coach would consider. Maybe this is as good as it gets for awhile. Acceptance is hard, denial is even harder. This never was a dominant team and I for one bought into the hype as I have done every year. Next year I will be smarter and not so naive to think that we are in the same league as the "big boys". Maybe we will get there again, but I foresee a long long road.
