2016-2017 was primed to be a tough year recruiting. This class will all depend on a late year close for upper crust talent. And, that will only be possible if the team has another progressive year on the field.
This offseason has been politically tough on TN, regardless of the fact Butch has been a driving force for almost all that is right within the AD and certainly the football program right now. With those tough public politics, offseason recruiting is going to be difficult with regards to the top talent.
