Teach your children what to do in case they, or one of their younger siblings, is choking.
One of ours was choking today (9 yr old), and she was able to get to my office after about 7 or 8 seconds of not being able to breathe. (Which really scared her, shook her up)
Scared the absolute sh*** out of me. I think I crossed the room at the speed of light to get to her.
