He's always been the play. Hart was a short term hire to do the dirty work while Blackburn was sent out to prove he can run an athletic dept on his own. He's proven that, Hart has revamped our athletic dept, and Blackburn is on his way back to Knoxville. It has always been the plan. There's probably not an AD in the country that could have done what Hart did and come out unscathed. They weren't going to throw their long term guy to the wolves like that. The wheels were set in motion years ago.
