First, I understand injuries. They've killed us this year. But that said, we should be able to at least be able to get guys in the right position. So many of the busts on our defense are from guys not playing assignment defense. If they just stood where they're lined up and not tried to make a play they would be better off than what we're seeing.
So @Brent_Hubbs and @P_Fortenberry , are our guys struggling with the scheme? Can they not figure it out? Is it too tough mentally for them? I get that Shoop didn't play a tough schedule when he was DC at Vandy but they still were relatively a good defense. They played smart football. Our defense seems to have bust after bust.
