Nick Sheridan, currently a GA, worked under Azzanni at WKU, then became QB coach and passing game coordinator in 2012, eventually following Taggart to USF, where he held the same position for a year before leaving to join UT (and Azzanni) as a GA.

In 2012, Sheridan guided Kawaun Jakes to a 147.8 pass efficiency rating, which ranked 28th nationally. Jakes passed for 2,289 yards and 21 TDs, while completing 64.6 percent of his passes, en route to honorable mention all-conference honors.

edit: Also played under Rich Rod at Michigan, so has quite a bit of familiarity with similar offenses.
