I'm a Tennessee alum but I have two younger brothers who went to Ole Miss and Auburn. They literally hate Mississippi State and Alabama respectively. I was reading an article about the Mississippi State fan that Snapchatted the photo of Swag Kelly smoking weed and it occurred to me, who the heck would allow an arbitrary allegiance to a football team allow themselves to set aside any semblance of Christianity and do such a cruel thing to another human being in the name of rivalry.
I started thinking that while Tennessee has some intense rivalries with Alabama, Florida, and Georgia, we're blessed not to have that psychotic insane (typically instate) rivalry that causes people to act like overgrown two year olds. You know, poisoning trees, etc. See also Ole Miss / Msu and Alabama / Auburn
My question - if you had dirt on a rival's player, would you serve it up in the same of rivalry?
