I live and work in the Tri-Cities area. A co-worker of mine shared a small convo he had with a Bristol Police officer recently. The officer said they are anticipating an influx of almost 300,000 people for the Battle at Bristol. Obviously the overwhelming majority of that will be spectators. Others would be workers for the track, sponsor's booths and tents outside the track, campers/tailgaters who wont actually go in the game (Thats what I am doing), extra security and law enforement, tv crew, teams and their staffs, etc.
I think 300,000 sounds a little high, but still quite the influx of people to such a small town. Really excited to see it all unfold.
