i don't understand why they wouldn't at least start letting him learn the defense. We desperately, desperately need a good CB. We don't desperately need Byrd at WR, neither this year nor next year. It just feels like hubris at this point.
If for some (highly unlikely) reason he isn't a natural at CB, wouldn't you rather know that sooner rather than later?
