They seem to matter so little to the actual season. All of the highly touted freshmen and newcomers didn't do a thing. Most of the players that were poised for career years in the fall had pedestrian seasons at best beside Kamara and Malone. The "best defense on the Hill in over a decade" looked below average even before the significant injuries. We proved to have 0 depth as most of our highly touted backups look like busts. The ones who do have talent are too confused by the defensive scheme that they are unable to use it.
