Is Clarkesville still part of Tennessee?

I'm here in Clarkesville from Florida visiting my daughter. I see all sorts of Gator, Bama, FSU and other stuff. I go to Walmart looking for UT stuff and the lady tells me she doesn't think they have anything. Sure enough, I could only find a few things. I go to Kmart and ask the clerk if she has any UT stuff. She says, "is that orange?" I finally find some UT stuff amid all the Bama crap.

Seriously, what has happened?
