I was on the phone with one of my dearest friends, who happens to live in South Africa, last night during the game. We were discussing this topic and I wanted to get the boards thoughts.

Gluten can obviously cause terrible reactions in humans, but Unfair Trade can cause terrible reactions in society. Though you may not personally feel the affects of eating Slave Sugar, others in the world definitely do. Their diet is impacted. Their housing is impacted. Their children even grow smaller b/c of their lack of nutrition.

If we are all interconnected (and I believe we are to some degree) shouldn't we be caring about Fair Trade as much as Gluten Free?
