Just been a hard damn decade being a Vol fan, and truthfully there’s not an end in sight. The one bright spot for me is Phillip, but I fear he will be undermined for the personal agenda/vendetta of certain players.
See, I’ve honestly never thought a coach will succeed since him and you can add Pruitt to that list. Why? Because until the leadership is shored up, it doesn’t matter the coach. There are people who don’t believe this. We are about to make the MOST important hire in the history of the entire system when we replace Dr. D. Does anybody feel good about this upcoming decision? Less than a year from now we will know our future. There are guarantees, do you expect them to hire that, or start at the bottom and work their way up? Nolan is the only choice, and it’s what is needed so I have complete confidence that won’t happen. I digress however.
Bama spent a decade dealing with these same problems. To get their savior they had to oust the problems with jr. being number 1.
The power struggle here is real and never ending. People care far more about their agendas than the good of the whole.
What would you give for joe, or Doug to be in control?
Well, here we are at a turning point or a keeping on point but this I know is a fact. If this problem at the top persists, none of it matters. If it’s fixed then things will be well..
1992-2007 were absolutely dominating years for this entire system as a whole. They will never be repeated if this issue isn’t addressed. So, I’m december, it’ll be decided. Will we decide to be a powerful player, or sink into the annals of history. If history is an indicator, I’m glad I was old enough to experience 92-2007 because we will never experience it again, and I hate it for my kids.
