I'm not sure i've seen recruiting like this in my lifetime. We are the only team in America doing this. We are the "hot" team that kids are talking about on social media. This train is gaining steam and it's about to get fun.
Finishing the season the way we did and having the coaches we have on staff...it just feels different this time. I know that we always do the "this is the year", but this time around it has a different feel. We have the proven winners as coaches. We have the guys that know how to develop these recruits. We've had years in the past where we had good recruiting classes, but their development stopped when they graduated high school. Now we've got the right guys in place AND we are getting these studs.
We are on the national radar. Opposing teams are trashing us publicly. Message boards hate us. We are being accused of cheating/paying. These are all AWESOME things that we've waited over a decade for and it seems like it's just getting started.
Buckle up for a fun ride! I'm going to be unbearable once we are a power again and y'all should follow along with me! We've earned the right to trash talk and soak up every bit of this fun. We've suffered for so long that we can have a little fun now.
