I just watched the game again. This kid had very little running room, but boy does he run hard.
When he gets started he is hard to bring down....he runs with max effort. He is a complete back, too. He can catch the ball...like on the TD...and he is a great blocker. I watched him on numerous occasion picking up blitzes and blocking downfield. It is almost like he loves to block. I cannot remember the last time we had someone as physical as him.
I love his mentality, too. I still love that GIF of him waving to the guy that was threatening a blitz to come get him some...and that was as a freshman.
All that to say....I hope he runs for 200 yards some time this year. He has it in him if we can open up some holes.
