I really, wish the coaching staff had shown interest in this kid. Only 2*, signed with Memphis. He is a great kid who runs well and also has plenty frame to grow. [6'4", 255] UT has had many VFL from Rhea County including the School Principal and a special QB. This is a darn Football crazy town, not far from campus. I am not saying we should have signed or offered, but he would possibly would have considered a preferred WO. [JMO] Great Kid, great parents, family are foundations of the area. When we get down to signing lower rated kids, lets get character guys from our back door. Signing his kid 5.4 rr would have meant another 100 season tickets sold. He may not do well at Memphis, but he is a solid citizen. Showed Mahoney as his recruiter on rivals.
