was hired December 7th. His staff was assembled over the weeks after his hire. Signing day is Wednesday, February 7th. They have worked tirelessly recruiting while he and Sherer were still coaching into January at Bama and Georgia. This time also included 2-3 weeks where coaches could not go out. He has done one heck of a job putting together the early signing class as well as getting in on some fine players. He has been recruiting against the best for athletes against Clemson, Georgia, Alabama and Ohio State as well as USC battling for the elite players. To sign any of these top players would be a feat in itself with the season we had last year in finishing last in the SEC with zero wins. Those mentioned above with the exception of USC have been common final 4 teams. And with USC there is the distance issue we must deal with. I am extremely proud of where we are in recruiting as of this year and into the future with Coach Pruitt and company. When we are able to win like he wants is when we will be able to get our fair share He understands that and will do that through coaching and development. That is when his recruiting expertise will really take off. GBO!!!
