Ok, so you want to can Bev. I don't think many of us truly know whether she was cut out for this role or way in over her head or not. Some may have heard rumblings but as we have seen from the past year, there is a lot going on at our University.
That leaves 2 ways to approach this.
1. Accept what Joe said as fact, she stunk and wouldn't improve. Move forward
2. This was clearly done by order and passed down the line
Personally, nothing surprises me anymore with UT. If you want to shitcan her, proceed. The item I find amazing is the release of a scathing report that basically beats Bev to death and makes her out to be completely incompetent and useless. I have seen a lot of firings in my day, many high profile and I have never seen a release like that and certainly not at this level. It's pretty shocking honestly.
While she may not be suited for the role, I do believe she tried to do what was best for the University during her tenure for the most part. Not sure she deserved that send off.
My final conclusion is that Joe is a moron as well and likely very bad at his job.
