I hate that call. I could see it being the correct call based on the actual rule but at best maybe 50/50. But that's not my gripe on that play.
Perhaps I heard it wrong but it looked like they originally called JRM for catch interference. Was that the call? And if so, how is it possible that he was flagged for that? There's no halo rule in college. If they didn't originally call him for targeting, how is that a penalty?
