Barnes never knew what to do with him and by the end of the season, Julian had lost all confidence. Probably should have kept him as starter with major minutes and have JJJ off the bench.
JJJ is a great guy but just not an alpha and did not improve in taking it to the hoop at all. If I am reading the stats correctly, JJJ only shot 36 foul shots the whole season; THE WHOLE SEASON ...............during the USC game when JJJ was out, Julian shot 12 for that one game.
I don't know if JJJ can come back and I know Julian needs to see where draft is etc, but Julian needs to start and get the minutes if both are here.
