We've all speculated this was coming. I guess some might even have known the timetable. Did Rivals or whomever runs this know what and when it was going to happen? Did Brent and co give a notice?
We all all laugh about $9.95 and whatever it is for the year and whatnot but something really shitty happened to us at a minimum. No disrespect to the new staff here but I can go to Volnation and essentially get what I'm going to get here for free. Granted its not hooked up with rivals network but that's not that big of a deal. We have no real recruiting beat writers which is why 100% of us signed up for this and daily we get a new sports reporter of sorts. And honestly, a kid who is going to college writing for three different teams? He should be interning here. Maybe he is.
The other concern I have is the former writers coming in here and saying "guys it's true" and posting cryptic shit. How old are we? Are you going to light a paper bag of shit in front of VolReports front door and run?
And how is it that there was no plan in place once those guys left? None. The color isn't even remotely right. Nothing I'm even resembles a seamless or even bumpy change.
I'm not too worried about getting out of my account here just yet. The money isn't going to break me. But again, something bad happened and we're all a bunch of bagholders and we have the people skipping town saying "guys it's true."
