Only thing I can think is that it was out of necessity for this year (one returning QB, Dormady with a bum arm and Jennings not really an SEC ready QB).
They are both fantastic prospects, but I don't have much doubt that Kendall is a better prospect, overall, than Jones.
Again... I like them both (and Jobes certainly adds much needed help TODAY. I just really liked Kendall and think he's going to be a once a decade QB for someone.
